Person Profile

Head of Strategy and Services

  • Experience of managing similarly complex resources both in terms of staff and budgets
  • Demonstrable experience in contract procurement and management, to secure efficient delivery of services through suppliers and achieve value for money
  • Significant strategic awareness of the waste sector to shape plans which ensure that the Authority is at the forefront of modern approaches to waste operations
  • Evidence of effective stakeholder management and working with a complex array of parties
  • Equivalent senior management experience outlining strong corporate contributions
  • A track record of working with elected members to achieve agreed outcomes

Programme Director

  • A track record of operating at a strategic level in complex multi-disciplinary environments
  • Experience of managing a major civil engineering projects from development consent to construction; leading on infrastructure programmes of similar complexity
  • Demonstrable experience in contract procurement and management, to secure successful delivery of projects and achieve value for money
  • Experience of building teams and leading through growth and change
  • A track record demonstrating the ability to thrive in public environments responding positively to scrutiny from politicians and interest groups
